How it works

From one answer to an evolving plan.

HybiLearn does not run a syllabus once and mark it done. It runs a loop: learn, gather evidence, understand, personalize, assess, and turn what it learns into the next Study Plan. Here is that loop with a real example.

Worked example

Sarah and negative coefficients

Sarah keeps losing marks on linear equations. A percentage alone would say 'needs practice.' HybiLearn goes further.

01

Start with the learner

Grade, curriculum and interests set the starting point. Sarah is in Grade 8, British curriculum, and enjoys sport and design.

02

Learn, multimodal

Sarah works through a short lesson on linear equations, mixing text, diagrams and short videos.

03

Gather evidence

Her typed answers, written reasoning, an uploaded homework photo, practice attempts, an assessment and a HybiTutor chat all become evidence.

04

Build the H Genome

HybiLearn reads the working and finds a pattern: she drops the sign when moving a negative coefficient across the equals sign.

05

Personalize

Her next lesson and practice set are chosen specifically to isolate negative coefficients, not general algebra review.

06

Assess

A short check confirms whether the idea has actually landed, not just whether the last few answers were correct.

07

Convert into a Study Plan

The result becomes a concrete task in this week's Study Plan: 10 minutes on negative coefficients, explained a different way.

08

Relearn, practice, retest

Sarah gets a fresh explanation, targeted practice, and a retest that checks the specific misconception, not the whole topic again.

↺ The retest becomes new evidence, and the loop runs again.

Evidence

Real schoolwork makes the model true.

Homework, worksheets, question papers, answer sheets and marked teacher feedback can all be added inside the app. HybiLearn reads them, extracts what they reveal about understanding, and folds that evidence into the H Genome.

  • Photo, PDF or typed submissions
  • Detects patterns across weeks, not just single answers
  • Teacher feedback is treated as evidence too
  • Every insight links back to the work it came from

Where the evidence goes

Every source feeds one evolving profile.

Answers, typed reasoning, uploaded materials, practice attempts, assessments and HybiTutor conversations are not separate records. They are combined into a single, dated picture of the learner.

  • Nothing is discarded: even a correct answer with shaky reasoning is evidence
  • Evidence is dated, so the model reflects what is true now, not months ago
  • One misconception can be seen across several evidence types at once

HybiTutor

A tutor that already knows the learner.

HybiTutor opens with context: the grade, the curriculum, the current chapter and the exact step that has been going wrong. There is no re-explaining who you are.

I can see the last few slips were all the same thing, the negative sign not reaching the second term. Want to start there?
Explain it another way
Think of −3(x − 4) as removing three groups of (x − 4). Removing a debt three times means you gain 12, so the second term becomes +12.
